Rx Africa (Ethiopia) P.L.C owns and operates a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The plant was established to manufacture AIDS/HIV, malaria, tuberculosis and other generic drugs in Ethiopia.

Rx Africa (Ethiopia) P.L.C is currently producing six generic products for distribution in Ethiopia in their factory facilities, and their dedicated R&D center has developed formulas for 9 more generic pharmaceuticals. In calendar 2009 the company is on schedule to develop an additional 22 generics.
